Strawberry smoothie



This is a very soothing drink , very good during hot summer days. It is healthy and refreshing too. As we use strawberry there is no need of any additional sugar , of course you can add little bit for flavour . Here I have made a smoothie with my own choice of ingredients after searching for the recipe in different websites. It came good . If you have a good juicer then it works double good. I have a great Hamilton Beach blender which works wonders when it comes to these type dishes. 

Today I had lot of strawberry in fridge and I was also planning  to make a refreshing summer drink for my friends who were visiting in the evening. Made this and everyone liked it. 

INGREDIENTS:
  • Strawberry- 10 nos. 
  • Milk- 1/2 cup
  • Non fat yoghurt- 1/2 cup
  • Sugar- 3 tablespoons
  • Vanilla essence- 3 drops
  • Honey- 1/4 tablespoon
  • Ice cubes- 3
How to Prepare:

Step 1: Put all the ingredients together in a blender and without adding any water , blend it to a smooth juice consistency. You can use the smoothie option , or else the blend option.

Step 2: Serve chilled with ice cubes and a scoop of plain vanilla ice cream garnished with nuts.
